Product Descriptions
Frame:
Bladez Master GS bike is designed with 1-piece, sturdy, extensive steel frame. The frame body is powder coated with anti-corrosive paint. Rubber levelers are used in both the bases of the frame. Because the levelers give utmost stability on any irregular surface. Besides, the front base includes silicone wheels for easy transportation of the bike when needed. As the bike is built-in a heavy-design so it can hold up maximum weight up to 300 lbs. or 136 kg. Plus, despite hard pedaling the bike will standstill due to its proper weight.
Flywheel, Drive system and Brake:
This Bladez GS spin bike includes an ultra-heavy flywheel. That weight 40 lbs. and it gives you a steady momentum with a natural pedaling motion. Moreover, the flywheel is perimeter weighted that cut back the Stairmaster effect. Here the heavyweight of flywheel ensures the durability of the bike. However, the bike also includes an emergency brake to quick-stop the flywheel. Here, the belt drive is used to rotate the flywheel. Hence, it gives a smooth and quiet ride. Furthermore, it doesn’t require any maintenance or lubrication like any chain-driven system. There is also a drive guard attached on both sides of the belt drive to protect it from sweat drops and damage. As well as it prevents your clothes or ankles from getting caught on the belt.
Bladez Master GS spin bike features a direct contact brake system. In this brake system, an extra-large leather pad is added. Later on, the pad comes across the flywheel in a complete way that helps to give a steady resistance.
Resistance:
Indoor cycle Bladez Master GS has manual resistance. Resistance can be applied to the flywheel by turning to a tension knob located at the frame’s front. Basically, it stiffens the leather pad on top of the flywheel for a steady resistance. Thus, you won’t slip while pedaling.
Anyways, there is no system of marked down previous resistance. That’s why you have to remember the last time resistance when it has been changed.
Again, the resistance is gradually increasing. It keeps changing with the tightening of the knob that gives you continuous resistance. In general, it goes from null to very hard that is good for both the noob and pro riders.
Console, Seat, and Handlebars:
The console of the Bladez Master spin bike is a basic progress tracking monitor. This console unit tracks important workout stats like speed, time, distance, calories burned and RPM. Moreover, the console is also telemetric that can read your pulse via a compatible HR chest strap. Likewise, it also works with Polar straps.
Console monitor of the bike is powered by the battery. As the console doesn’t feature any key. Therefore, pedaling power up the monitor’s battery. Power automatically goes off after 3 mins of stopping the pedaling stroke.
Like most other race bike seats, Bladez features a slim seat that is slightly cushioned but comfortable enough. However, you can replace the seat with any normal padded seat if you wish. Anyways, the seat post stands 43.7” in the highest setting and 36.8” in the lowest setting respectively from the floor. Besides the seat is pretty adjustable than can be moved from fore to aft. So that you can choose your perfect fit for a comfortable workout. Riders of height range between 5’2″ and 6’8″ can sit in this bike’s seat easily.
Multi-grip handlebars are covered in rubberized padding foam. Rubber foam protects your hands from blister and gives you a comfortable, firm grip. Handlebars are also adjustable just like the seat.
Pedal and Crank System:
Trainer cycle Bladez Master features dual-pedals with toe-cage. One side of the other pedal is compatible with any standard shoes. While the other side is compatible with SPD. However, in case you don’t like the original pedal then you can replace it with any other standard bike pedals.
There is a small crank wheel with 2, solid-steel made crank arms in the cycle. Crank arms feature aluminum pedals with toe-cage and cleats for any spin shoes. Moreover, the bike has just the right kind of Q-factor for you and that is 9.1’’. Because this Q-factor is wide enough to prevent the user from hitting the crank or crank cover. Lastly, the flywheel and the crank are attached via a heavy-duty rubber belt. Since the bike is belt-driven, riding is very smooth and quiet.
Assembly and Maintenance:
You will receive the Bladez Master GS spin bike partially assembled. Only the flywheel, crank, belt, frame and the brake system are connected to the mainframe. Thus, you need to attach the following things for the complete assembly:
- Connecting bases to the frame.
- Handlebar post and Handlebar assembly.
- Seat post and seat assembly.
- At last, connect the console.
In terms of maintenance, you just have to lubricate the drive system with a silicone-based lubricant. It is necessary because the bike has a direct contact brake system that may wear out after a while of use.
Plus, you need to keep the bike dust free and occasionally check out the loose parts or bolts of the bike.
